Create Custom Reports

The Custom Report page allows you to create reports that display only the specific data you want using Patient Charges, Retail Dispenses, Purchases, and Accumulations table data.

Custom Report Guidelines

  • Other users cannot access your custom reports. To distribute the custom report to others, generate the report, export the report to Excel or PDF, and send the report outside of the system.
  • You cannot schedule a custom report. The scheduling functionality applies to Standard Reports only.
  • You must create a custom report via the Add New Report window before you can generate a report. Date and Criteria Filters on the Filter Options panel are for saved custom reports.

Create a Custom Report

1       Go to Reporting > Custom Reports.

The Custom Reports page opens.

2       Click Add New Report.

The Add New Report window opens.

3       Enter a report title in the Report Name field.

4       Select the data table type. The table type determines the data source for your report:

  • Patient Charges
  • Retail Dispense
  • Purchase
  • Accumulations
  • Accumulation History

5       Select the primary filter for the report in the Filter 1 column.

6       Designate the And/Or relationship between Filter 1 and Filter 2 in the AND/OR Relationship column.

7       Select the secondary filter for the report in the Filter 2 column.

8       Identify the additional columns you want to include in the custom report in the Select Columns field.

The left table contains report column options and the right table contains columns included in the report:

a       Select columns individually by selecting the name and clicking the single right arrow icon. Click the single left arrow icon to remove a column from the report.

b       Select all columns by clicking the double right arrow icon. Click the double left arrow icon to remove all columns from the report.

c       Use the Up and Down icons to rearrange column order.

9       Click Save Report to create the custom report.

The Add New Report window closes.
