Macro Helix offers the ability to enable the transfer of accumulations between pharmacies which share the same Hospital ID. This feature provides added ease-of-use around the management of various models of Alternate Distribution Methods (ADMs) which require the movement of accumulations between pharmacies.
This is a PID level setting and only needs to be adjusted to turn the feature on or off. It must be enabled on both the To and From PIDs. To enable the feature, Admin users can navigate to 340B Architect > Admin Setup > Pharmacy Settings > General Information > Pharmacy Information > Additional Properties.
When a user selects YES in the Accumulations Transfer dropdown list, a popup message will be presented to confirm the change. “You are opting in to allow accumulations to and from PID [PID] [PID NAME]. This will allow other participating pharmacies to transfer and receive transfers from this PID.”
The “Confirm Opt In” button will be disabled until the checkbox has been filled.
Filling the check box and clicking “Confirm” will allow them to keep the changes in the dropdown (and later click Save Changes in Pharmacy Settings). Once confirmed, the below message will be displayed:
“By clicking the Confirm button, I affirm that I am duly authorized to grant consent for accumulations transfers to and from this pharmacy. I understand the purpose of this functionality and I agree that Macro Helix is not responsible for accumulations transfers between pharmacies utilizing this method.”
Clicking Cancel will negate any changes and return the user to the Pharmacy Settings screen and the Accumulations Transfer dropdown will be reverted back to “Does not participate”.
